22 June 2018

Oldham Primary Schools are being encouraged to book in for their Premier League Primary Stars delivery, with spaces limited.

Premier League Primary Stars, now coming into the third year of delivery, uses the appeal of the Premier League and professional football clubs to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important life skills.

Available to every primary school in England and Wales, it inspires girls and boys aged 5-11 in the classroom, the playground and on the sports field.

During 2017, Oldham Athletic Community Trust will have successfully delivered the project to thousands of school children across the borough, offering teacher CPD whilst delivering high quality PE delivery.

OACT Community Manager, Martin Vose, commented: “Our free PLPS project is perfect for schools wishing to receive teacher CPD in a short, sharp way.

“We aim to work alongside school teaching staff to provide new ideas and increase confidence in delivering PE. During the previous year we have successfully mentored over 30 teachers across a variety of schools.

“The delivery Is completely free of charge and I urge our local schools not to miss out on this opportunity.”

The Premier League Primary Stars project is available to every school within the borough with delivery tailored to meet individual need.

Any schools wishing to receive further information on the Premier League Primary Stars Project should email martin.vose@oldhamathletic.co.uk.
