Oldham Athletic are saddened to learn of the passing of World Cup winner Ray Wilson, aged 83.
Wilson served Oldham Athletic for one season between 1969 and 1970 and made 25 appearances for the club.
Wilson helped England win the World Cup in 1966 and also played for Huddersfield Town, Everton and Bradford City.
The club would like to send their condolences to the friends and family of Ray at this very sad time.
