Congratulations to young Latics’ defender Tom Hamer who has won the Spindles Town Square Shopping Centre Player of the Month for October.
The 19-year-old academy graduate won the fans’ vote with 46%, ahead of Rob Hunt (37%) and Peter Clarke (17%).
The defender received the Spindles Town Square Shopping Centre Player of the Month shield at training this morning.

Sam Surridge, the September player of the month, was also on hand to receive the shield as he wasn’t available last month through injury.
