Thomas Bramall will be the man in charge when Latics take on Mansfield Town this Tuesday at the One Call Stadium (7:45pm).
Bramall has never officiated an Oldham Athletic game, having been a referee in the National League for the past two seasons.
He has officiated nine Football League fixtures so far this season, brandishing 17 yellow cards and one red card.
Ken Haycock and Paul Graham will assist the referee whilst Robert Atkin will be the fourth official.
