Dean Whitestone will be the man in charge when Latics take on Carlisle United this Saturday at Boundary Park (3pm).
Whitehouse officiated one Oldham game last season which was the 2-1 defeat at Walsall in August 2017.
He has officiated nine fixtures so far this season, brandishing 30 yellow cards and two red cards.
Craig Taylor and David Avent will assist the referee whilst Jon Clark will be the fourth official.
