Sunday 11th November 2018 marks the Armistice Centenary, one hundred years since the end of the First World War.
Today we all remain connected to World War One, either through our own family history, the heritage of our local community or because of its long-term impact on society in which we live today.
One century on, the EFL, Premier League, FA and the PFA have joined forces under the collective banner of ‘Football Remembers’ to mark the end of the First World War Centenary and in Remembrance of all those who have served in conflicts since.
Today, here at Oldham Athletic Football Club, we join clubs across the nation to pay tribute to all those connected to our clubs, towns and cities who have paid the ultimate sacrifice. Please will you join us in observing a minute’s silence in their memory.
We will remember them.
