Mark Heywood will be the man in charge as Oldham Athletic take on Newport County on Saturday Afternoon (3pm).
Heywood only officiated one Oldham game last season which was the home defeat to Fleetwood Town on Boxing Day.
He has taken charge of five fixtures so far this season brandishing 25 yellow cards and two red cards.
Alex Pashley and Declan Ford will assist the referee with Ben Toner as the fourth official.
