Oldham Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of defender Tomas Egert on a one-year deal with an option of a further year.
The 24-year-old has spent time with Burton Albion and he made three appearances for the Brewers in the Sky Bet Championship.
Egert began his career with Slovan Liberec in Czech Republic, whilst at the club the centre-back enjoyed numerous loans spells in his homeland.
The central defender has been training with Latics for the summer although he has yet to feature in pre-season.
Egert will wear the number 29 shirt.
