Oldham Athletic are pleased to announce the signing of defender Ashley Smith-Brown on a season-long loan from Plymouth Argyle.
The 23-year-old began his career with Manchester City, where he enjoyed loan spells with NAC Breda, Hearts of Midlothian and Oxford United whilst at the Premier League outfit along with a number of England international caps at youth level.
A versatile and dynamic fullback, Smith-Brown signed for Plymouth Argyle in 2018 and made 37 appearances in all competitions last season.
In his time at Boundary Park he will wear the number 5 shirt but is unavailable for the opening day fixture against Forest Green Rovers tomorrow.
