Neil Hair will be in charge of for the club's first Sky Bet League Two game of the season tomorrow against Forest Green Rovers.
The Cambridgeshire referee was in charge for 31 games last season in a mixture of League One and Two as well as the FA Cup producing 100 yellow cards and four red cards.
The last time Hair was in the middle for a Latics game was on the opening day of the 2018/19 season in a 2-1 defeat to MK Dons at Boundary Park, handing out two yellow cards.
He will be assisted by Matthew Lee and Garry Maskell and the Fourth Official will be Christopher Kidd.
