Alan Young will be the man in charge for the Sky Bet League Two fixture at Boundary Park.
Young referees in both League One and Two and was last in charge of a Latics fixture in October when Cheltenham Town visited in a 1-1 draw, where seven yellow cards were handed out.
So far this campaign he has taken charge of 19 games handing out 87 yellow cards and given two red cards. He is yet to officiate a game involving The O's.
He will be assisted by Kevin Mulraine and Peter Gooch with the Fourth Official being David Plowright.
