Oldham Athletic Community Trust is looking to recruit and add to the Board of Trustees.
Oldham Athletic Community Trust is the charitable arm of Oldham Athletic Football Club. Our mission is to 'provide positive opportunities through sport' and as such our organisation delivers engaging activities that impact on lives within communities across Oldham.
We are looking for a Trustee who has commercial experience to support the growth of the Community Trust’s commercial partnerships.
Potential candidates must possess a proven track record of successfully working in a commercial environment along with the skills and ability to develop this aspect of the Trust in the future. If you feel you have the qualities and skills to support the Trust at Board Level to develop our ongoing charitable work in the community we would be delighted to receive an application from you.
Trustees – Are you the person we are looking for?
We are looking for a committed individual to expand the range of Trustee skills that we already have at Board level. We require a dynamic and motivated person who will strategically assist us to meet the aims and objectives of Oldham Athletic Community Trust. We require our new Trustee to contribute actively to the Board by giving strategic direction; setting overall policy; defining goals and setting targets; evaluating performance; ensuring the charity’s effective and efficient administration and financial stability.
We are keen to have a wide range of people on the Board, and seek to be representative of the diverse population of the borough. No previous experience at Trustee level is required.
Trustees are expected to:
- Attend quarterly board meetings.
- Contribute advice and support on an ad-hoc basis.
- Attend community events.
