A year on since Oldham Athletic Girls & Women Football Club announced a partnership with the club, they are now looking for help to continue their growth.
There are exciting plans in place, with new players always welcome and being a charter standard grassroots club ran by dedicated volunteers, are seeking the support of local businesses with commercial opportunities available for the 2019/20 season.
Oldham Athletic Girls & Women, who represent Oldham Athletic Football Club in association with Oldham Athletic Community Trust, have in the space of one season grown from two teams to five, with 65 girls representing the club on a weekly basis from the ages of 7 to 16 with the club at the forefront of girls football in Oldham.
As a club they are dedicated to increasing participation and enjoyment across girls football.
For the 2019/20 season OAFCG&W will be operating with teams across five age groups, these are; Under 9’s, Under 10’s, Under 12’s, Under 15’s and Under 18’s.
To allow the club to continue to grow and thrive within the borough they are looking for a main sponsor to help with the essential operational costs involved with running a grassroots outfit, whilst giving great exposure across the town.
