Christopher Sarginson will be in charge for Saturday's Sky Bet League Two match at Boundary Park.
The Staffordshire referee has taken charge of 35 games this season in a mixture of League One and Two as well as cup competitions producing 103 yellows and five reds.
This will be the first time Sarginson has officiated Latics this season, but was in the middle for Stevenage's 1-1 draw at Northampton Town in December, handing out just a single yellow card.
Assisted by Helen Byrne and Nik Barnard, the Fourth Official will be Paul Hodskinson.
