Striker Chris O’Grady has been nominated for the December Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month.
The 32-year-old netted five times in as many games which included a hat-trick against local rivals Bury.
He is up against strong competition in Lincoln City’s John Akinde who has contributed four goals and an assist for the league leaders, left-back Danny Grainger who kept two clean sheets within Carlisle United’s defence as well as contributing one assist and three goals, including two freekicks and Forest Green Rovers’ striker George Williams who scored five goals in four games including a hat-trick against Newport County.
The winner will be announced on Friday, January 11.
