Carl Boyeson will be the man in charge when Latics take on Morecambe this Saturday at Boundary Park (3pm).
So far this season Boyeson has brandished 92 yellow cards and three red cards in 26 games.
He last officiated an Oldham Athletic fixture in the 4-1 win over Newcastle U21s in November 2017.
Natalie Aspinall and David Avent will assist the referee whilst Eddi Ilderton will be the fourth official.
