Oldham Athletic can confirm that striker Urko Vera has returned to the club on a one-year deal.
The former La Liga striker netted one goal in six appearances for Latics last season.
Vera scored his only goal for the club with a penalty in a 2-1 defeat against Macclesfield Town at the Moss Rose on his debut.
The 32-year-old has previously had spells at Athletic Bilbao, Alcorcón and CFR Cluj. His most prolific spell in his career was with CD Mirandes and scored 17 goals in 38 appearances in the Segunda Division.
