An update on the opening day including a gallery of pictures.
After arriving at the Borjs Hotel at 3am, following two flights - from Manchester to Casablanca - and then to Agadir with a 30-minute coach journey, the travelling squad were given the morning off to rest and recover ahead of a testing but what should be a worthwhile ten days.
Away from the hotel, Urko Vera arrived at Agadir airport in the late morning on a direct flight from Manchester to join the squad for the pre-season training camp.
The lads were then called for training at 5pm where they made the short 10-minute walk to the beach to take part in a team bonding exercise which was a huge success with the locals watching on.
Dinner was served in the evening with the customary singing initiations, with the view that the second day will be a step up in intensity and preparation for the games on Wednesday and next Sunday.
