An update on the second day including a gallery of pictures.
After spending over 24 hours in the African nation, the squad took part in their first two sessions at the Stade Adrar training pitches which are overlooked by the huge stadium complex.
The Stade Adrar will host both friendlies for Latics, with the venue itself orginally being built as part of their unsuccessful FIFA World Cup bid.
A conditioning session in the morning from 10am was followed by a more technical coaching approach at 5pm, which also meant a quick water based exercise took place in between back at the hotel along with refreshments and some more time to recover and relax.
The plan for the third day is expected to follow a similar format in terms of timings with more time on the ball and playing small-sided positional games throughout.
