REMINDER: Ernie Cooksey Trophy Versus Rochdale Tomorrow

19 July 2019

A match reminder to supporters watching the first game under Laurent Banide at Boundary Park.

Oldham Athletic and Rochdale will compete for the Ernie Cooksey Trophy tomorrow in pre-season friendly between the two teams at Boundary Park.

The game will be raising money for Melanoma UK, a skin cancer charity, in memory of former Latics and Rochdale midfielder Ernie Cooksey.

Ernie was treated for skin cancer in 2006 but suffered a reoccurrence two years later and sadly passed away in the summer of 2008.

He made 40 appearances for Latics during his time at Boundary Park before moving onto Rochdale for three years between 2004 and 2007.

Admission prices for the game are as follows:

  • Adults - £10
  • Concessions - £5
  • Under-18s - £1

Fans can pay on the day via cash turnstiles. Should you wish to pay by card, please visit the Boundary Park Ticket Office before going to the turnstiles.

Please note that the Joe Royle Stand will not be open for the fixture along with the OACT Family Section of the Jimmy Frizzell Stand.

Kiosks inside the ground won't be open but the O2 Lounge (Supporters Bar situated inbetween the Main Stand and Chaddy End) will be from midday until 6pm offering alocholic drinks at £2 among other refreshments for a maximum of 80 people.

For this fixture there will also be no match-day programmes for sale and the hospital car park will not be available for the pre-season fixtures.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Boundary Park ahead of the new campaign!
