The Oldham Athletic First Team will travel to sunnier climes next month for a 10-day training camp in Morocco.
On Wednesday 10 July, Latics will face Sporting Club Chabab Mohammedia in a friendly before playing Raja Casablanca (RCA - Raja Club Athletic) on Sunday 14 July at the Stade Adrar in Agadir, where the team will be based. Kick-off times for both fixtures are to be confirmed but will be in the evening.
Flying out from Manchester on Friday 5 July, at the end of the first week of pre-season, the trip will be an opportunity for the new coaching team to spend time working with the players on and off the training pitch.
The club are also able to announce details of a three day trip to Agadir to watch the Raja fixture. Flying from Manchester on Friday 12 July and returning on Monday 15 July the package includes flights, transfers from the airport in Agadir and accommodation at the four star LTI Agadir Beach Club on a bed and breakfast basis.
In addition, the club will look to give supporters who travel the opportunity to watch a training session and the chance to have a meet and greet with the squad whilst in Agadir.
The price of £520 (which has now changed due to demand) is per person based on two people sharing and there is limited availability on a strictly first come, first served basis.
Please note, there will potentially be a local hotel tax to pay of around €4-8 per night, per person. This can only be paid locally and not in advance.
