Anthony Backhouse will be the man in charge when Oldham Athletic take on Macclesfield Town on Saturday at Boundary Park (3pm).
Backhouse has officiated 10 games so far this season handing out 39 yellow cards and one red card.
He took charge of three Latics fixtures last season, all of which were at home against Colchester United, Cambridge United and Notts County.
Gary Hilton and Richard Woodward will assist the referee, with Richard Wigglesworth as the fourth official.
