Following the announcement in February 2019, the club are delighted to announce that the partnership with Oldham College will continue.
After the vision statement in May as to Oldham Athletic engaging with key stakeholders the link with the local College is still a key component.
Over the course of this season and next, Latics will work with the college on key projects to engage more students in matchdays to help increase the student fan base alongside developing an apprentice led programme within the workforce and its structures through continued professional development.
The link will also see promotion of their sports teams in both football and futsal when representing the club in competitions, assistance in the end of college awards and sponsorship from both sides.
On the link Jess Criswell, Assistant Principal said: "The College and the Football Club have developed a set of projects, including a sports qualification taught through Futsal and work experience placements among other things. We are very pleased that Latics has shown its commitment to education and employment in Oldham."
Whilst Managing Director, Natalie Atkinson stated: "Having worked with Oldham College in previous years I know how committed they are to raising the profile of Oldham Athletic and the town.
"The student population has been untapped for many years and I am committed to encouraging and welcoming as many students on matchdays to Boundary Park.
"I'd also like to thank the College for their commitment to our vision and look forward to working with them more."
