Oldham Athletic Community Trust is looking to recruit and add to our Board of Trustees. The Community Trust is the charitable arm of the Football Club and our mission is to 'provide positive opportunities through sport'.
Our organisation delivers engaging activities that impact on lives within communities across Oldham.
We are looking to recruit a Trustee that has experience within Human Resources to support our governance and our team. If you would like to use your skills and experience at Board level to assist with our charitable work we very much look forward to hearing from you.
Trustees – Are you the person we are looking for?
We are looking for a committed individual to expand the range of Trustee skills that we already have at Board level. We require dynamic and motivated person who will assist strategically to meet the aims and objectives of Oldham Athletic Community Trust. We expect our new Trustee to contribute actively to the Board by giving strategic direction; setting overall policy; defining goals and setting targets; evaluating performance; ensuring the charity’s effective and efficient administration and financial stability.
We want to have a wide range of people on the Board, and seek to be representative of the diverse population of the borough. There is no need to have trustee experience to apply.
Trustees are expected to:
- attend quarterly board meetings.
- contribute advice and support on an ad hoc basis.
- attend community events.
