Keillor-Dunn's late strike sealed Latics' win over Lincoln City in the last pre-season fixture ahead of the 2020/21 Sky Bet League Two campaign.

It was a quiet start to the fixture for Latics before Anthony Scully was played in behind the backline for Lincoln, but his low driven cross couldn’t find a red shirt and Carl Piergianni led by example as he got rid of the danger.

Harry Kewell’s side grew into the game and nearly had themselves a penalty when summer signing Conor McAleny raced at the Imps’ left-back and got brought down inside the area, however, the referee waved away the protests. Moments later, McAleny was causing more trouble for Lincoln as he drove towards the visitors' goal before finding space to unleash a shot, but the goalkeeper got down easily and kept hold of the strike.

Latics’ new shot-stopper Ian Lawlor was called into action as a Lincoln Trialist found too much room inside the penalty area before powerfully striking at goal, but Lawlor flew off his line and denied him with a fantastic save with his legs.

In the 38th minute, the hosts took the lead after impressive work from an Oldham Trialist. The Trialist intercepted a pass in his own half before running 30-yards with the ball before laying the ball off to McAleny, the attacker composed himself before smashing the ball into the back of the net from the edge of the 18-yard box.

Shortly after the interval, Michael Appleton’s side were level courtesy of Scully. Lincoln swung a corner into the box with the ball landing at the feet of the left-winger and he smashed his strike into the roof of the net, leaving Lawlor with no chance.

With 74 minutes on the clock, Oldham had their next opportunity after McAleny's hard-work and persistence won a corner. The set-piece was delivered deep into the Imps area with centre-back Sido Jombati climbing highest to win the header, but his attempt was just about saved by Ethan Ross.

Keillor-Dunn managed to keep up his impressive goal-scoring record throughout pre-season by scoring Latics’ winner in this affair. Jombati, who moved into right-back, found himself deep in the visitors half and picked out the left-winger with a low pass and inside the area Keillor-Dunn kept his cool a placed his effort past the goalkeeper with minutes left remaining.
