After a successful launch at Christmas, the new Sporting Memories group in partnership with Age UK Oldham and the Co-op, at Boundary Park is back for regular meetings in early 2020.
The sessions, which are free of charge, in conjunction with Sporting Memories Network who are the world's first charity dedicated to sports reminiscence to help tackle dementia, depression and loneliness, will use the rich history and heritage of Oldham Athletic to engage with people over the age of 50.
Taking place across the following Tuesday dates between 1:30-3pm:
- 25th February
- 24th March
- 28th April
- 19th May
Those attending will have the opportunity to meet current Latics players, receive a guided tour of Boundary Park along with attending a game and other activities.
Relatives and carers of the participants are also welcome to the friendly and welcoming environment with refreshments made available.
