Following the positive feedback received this season the club would like to notify supporters that the Athleticos will be back behind the goal for the next campaign.
After successful trials in the games against Burton Albion and Leyton Orient at Boundary Park, the Athleticos will be behind the goal in the Jimmy Frizzell Stand for the 2020/21 season.
In addition, the club will still be working with the group more closely on a number of different projects and ideas going forward.
The seats the Athleticos will be occupying from the start of next season are:
Seats 70–80 on rows F, G and H in the Jimmy Frizzell Stand (Rochdale Road End).
The seats selected were already available and season ticket holders will not be directly affected in terms of losing their seats.
The club understands that a small minority of fans do not wish to be near the group and can relocate to another part of the ground when renewing as a result of the decision.
Oldham Athletic would also like to take this opportunity to thank supporters who have given their positive backing to the move to try and improve the matchday atmosphere inside Boundary Park.
