A number of players from the Academy are still out on loan for the start of 2020.
Goalkeeper Ellis Allen has now linked up with Droylsden FC for a month after the club lost their first choice recently. The young shot stopper is set to make his debut later on this afternoon at Prescot Cables.
In addition, defender and Youth Team captain Jack Grundy has extended his loan at Tameside rivals Mossley FC for another month after impressive displays which included a man of the match performance against the Bloods.
With Andy Hackett and Ryan Pickford still at Winsford United for another month, whilst Lewis McKinney continues to represent Runcorn Linnets who has also extended his stay.
Charley Leech and Reece Gaskell have returned to the club.
As mentioned previously, the Academy department have a strategy in place to give the scholars the best possible chance of gaining a professional contract at Oldham Athletic.
