Oldham Athletic Community Trust (OACT) is looking to recruit and add to their Board of Trustees. The Community Trust is the charitable arm of the Football Club with the mission to 'provide positive opportunities through sport'.

OACT are looking to recruit a brand new Chair of the Trustees to lead their governance and team. If you would like to use your skills and experience at Board level to assist with local charitable work the club is very much looking forward to hearing from you.

Are you the person we are looking for?

We are looking for a committed individual to expand the range of Trustee skills that we already have at Board level. We require dynamic and motivated person who will lead strategically to meet the aims and objectives of Oldham Athletic Community Trust. We expect our new Chair to actively lead the Board by giving strategic direction; setting overall policy; defining goals and setting targets; evaluating performance; ensuring the charity’s effective and efficient administration and financial stability.

We want to have a wide range of people on the Board, and seek to be representative of the diverse population of the borough. There is no need to have trustee experience to apply.

Trustees are expected to:

  • attend quarterly board meetings.
  • contribute advice and support on an ad hoc basis.
  • attend community events.
