Over the course of the last week OACT have carefully looked at all recent government guidance, as well as the national picture in relation to Covid-19, and they can now release information relating to their traditional summer holiday club activity.
For the time-being there will be NO OACT holiday club activity this summer although this will be continually reviewed.
On the decision Martin Vose, OACT Head of Community, commented: "The safety and wellbeing of our staff and participants is our upmost concern and it is with this in mind that we have taken the difficult decision to continue the postponement of our holiday provision for the time being.
"We appreciate that this news may cause inconvenience to some families, and for that we sincerely apologise, however at this stage we believe that this is the correct course of action to take."
Oldham Athletic Community Trust are continuing to work with key local partners to support adhoc community delivery across Oldham where possible during the summer. Further news on this will be released in due course.
