Oldham Athletic are offering businesses a chance to become the club’s back of shirt sponsor for the 125th anniversary season, for just £250!
We recognise that many business owners are lifelong Latics fans and as such are excited to open up the opportunity of being a part of the club as a sponsor on the anniversary shirts for the 2020/21 season.
A one-off fee of £250 (£225 for 125 Business Club members) will see businesses entered into the draw to have their logo displayed on the back of the first team shirts and be named as an Official Club Partner for the entirety of the upcoming campaign.
On the initiative, Business Development Manager Jamie Stoddart said: "We’re delighted to be able to open this up and offer every business the opportunity to partner with the club in such a landmark year. The reaction to the anniversary kit has been really positive and for one lucky business owner, the kits are about to look even nicer!
"I've spoken to lots of business owners that have possibly been priced out of football sponsorship over the years, but for the price of a programme advert, you could see your business logo on the first team shirts, which will bring about a return of investment way beyond anything we currently offer."
He added: "I stated from the outset that further down the footballing ladder we have to be creative with sponsorship and work in a different way to the Premier League clubs down the road and this is one way we can do just that.
"Still, despite the uncertainty surrounding football and life at the minute, I’m hoping many businesses will get behind this initiative and help to provide the club with much-needed funds in our time of need. The pitfalls of not generating sufficient income in the current climate are well documented, so we’re hoping this will generate lots of interest in the town."
The competition is only open until Friday 21 August 2020, where the winner will be drawn at random and businesses are permitted to enter as many times as they wish to increase their chances.
Each business that donates will be announced on the club’s social media channels and all entrants will receive a season ticket for EFL Sky Bet League Two fixtures at Boundary Park in the 2020/21 season.
Those entering more than once will receive a social media spotlight for their business, an invite to two upcoming 125 Business Club events and ten additional match tickets to league games of their choice for family, friends or clients.
As well as having their logo on the back of the first team anniversary shirts, the winning business will receive LED advertising at home games, their logo on the club website, 125 Business Club membership for one year and regular social media coverage.
To enter, all you have to do is donate £250 (£225 for 125 Business Club members) by emailing Jamie.Stoddart@oldhamathletic.co.uk who will then raise an invoice for your business.
Please also provide the full name of your buisness in the initial email and how many times you wish to enter along with the company address, website link and logo.
