The Eighth Episode of 'A Trip Down Sheepfoot Lane' Is Out Now!

27 June 2020

As part of the 125 year celebrations, ‘A Trip Down Sheepfoot Lane’ now catches up with Sean Jarvis, an influential figure in our more recent history.

A good friend of Roy's, Sean was the former Marketing Director and Commercial Manager, beginning his work behind the scenes in 2000. He spent six-years helping the club before moving on to Huddersfield Town.

He would also briefly co-own Oldham Athletic during the difficult time in 2003/04 as the administrator sold Latics for £1 before shortly passing it over to new custodians.

Now taking up a new role as CEO of Leicestershire County Cricket Club, Sean had almost 14 years across the Pennines as Commercial Manager and then Director of the Terriers, overseeing a transformation in the clubs fortunes which included promotion to the Premier League.

He has also been one of the few people to complete all ten 'Pedal for Pounds' bike rides, helping to raise invaluable funds for charities such as the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

We'd like to thank Sean for taking the time out of his busy schedule to share some of his Latics stories in the week he began his new role.

There will be a break for a week now, but we hope you are enjoying this series of interviews.
