Mental Health Awareness Week 2020

18 May 2020

This week the Mental Health Foundation aims to raise awareness of mental health through the theme of kindness.

As a club, once again, we fully support Mental Health Awareness Week, which starts today and runs until Sunday 24 May. This year’s theme, as mentioned, for Mental Health Awareness Week is to ‘be kind’.

In support of the campaign with Oldham Council and OACT, we want to remind our local community that it's ok to talk!

Talking to someone who you trust is an important first step to getting help and support. This could be a friend, family member or professional.

It's also really important to make sure that you take care of your mind as well as your body while staying at home and socially distancing because of the pandemic.

For expert advice surrounding Mental Health Awareness Week, follow this direct link: https://www.mentalhealth.org.uk/campaigns/mental-health-awareness-week.

In additon, the EFL's local Mind partner Tameside, Oldham & Glossop is also available to support you by calling 0161 330 9223 and clicking here.
