Where’s Chaddy?

With new government guidelines being introduced, we know it will be tough and we want to encourage people to exercise as much as possible.

This week, we have hidden Chaddy the Owl around three local parks; Royton Park, Chadderton Hall Park and High Crompton Park… and we have a challenge for YOU!

To be in with the chance of winning a signed Oldham Athletic shirt, we want you to visit these local parks and find a minimum of three (3) Chaddy the Owls!

Each park has three Chaddy stickers hidden in them (a total of nine across the three parks), and all you have to do is tweet us (@OfficialOACT) with selfies/pictures of you and the three Chaddy's you have found with the #WheresChaddy.

This can be any three (3) of the nine (9) stickers across the parks, either all from the one park or a combination of the three parks.

As part of the new government guidelines, you can exercise or visit outdoor public places with the people you live with, your support bubble, or one person from another household (children under school age, as well as those dependent on round-the-clock care, such as those with severe disabilities, who are with their parents will not count towards the limit on two people meeting outside).

OACT encourages everyone to follow the latest guidelines and you can read them by clicking here.

OACT's Head of Community, Martin Vose said; "At OACT we understand the implications that a second lockdown may have on people's mental and physical wellbeing. Therefore, through our #WheresChaddy initiative we want to utilise some of our fantastic outdoor spaces that we have within Oldham and provide a family activity that is safe for people to get involved with that fits into the latest government guidance over the duration of the next four weeks."
