Latics will travel to Morecambe in the next round of the 2020/21 Carabao Cup on Tuesday 15 September (7:45pm kick-off).
The fixture will take place at the Mazuma Stadium (Globe Arena) behind-closed-doors.
The winner of this tie will then host Newcastle United or Blackburn Rovers the week after.
There is no replays either with teams after 90 minutes going straight to a penalty shootout if it's still a draw.
