In partnership with Tameside College, the Academy are now accepting additional applications for another upcoming trial next month as part of the new football education programme.
Taking place at Avro FC's Vestacare Stadium on Saturday 22 May, 11am till 1pm. The programme will give young people the chance to receive professional football training alongside studying for an academic qualification.
After the first trial this month, Head of Academy Paul Murray said; "We've already signed a significant amount of talent for the football education programme.
"It was a successful day in terms of the quality and the people who have signed up to the programme have huge potential both on and off the pitch, so it's an exciting summer ahead.
"For anyone interested, please get in touch or share the message to young people in the local area who may be able to benefit from this."
