Joe Royle Stand Information

4 August 2021

Oldham Athletic can provide a further update on the North Stand (Joe Royle Stand) and its reopening.

The seating area and concourses in the stand will reopen for the upcoming home fixture against Newport County this weekend (Saturday 7 August - 3pm KO) following today’s extraordinary Safety Advisory Group (SAG) meeting where the Joint Operational Agreement between the club and Oldham Event Centre was ratified. The operational efficiency of the stand and the working relationship between the two parties will be regularly reviewed by the SAG.

Due to the time constraints and logistics involved in transferring season tickets holders back to the Joe Royle Stand, as well as issuing new season cards, the process will not commence until next week ahead of the next league fixture against Colchester United on Saturday 21 August.

All seats for the Joe Royle Stand for the Newport County game are now on general sale (online only) by clicking here.

The Carabao Cup fixture on Tuesday 10 August against Tranmere Rovers will also be all pay and unreserved seating.

Ticket prices in advance and on the day are available here for future reference.

A further announcement on the actual season ticket switchover process will be made this weekend. We appreciate season ticket holders who have moved to another stand to reserve their original seat out of good faith will have to sit in their current position for Saturday and the club would like to thank you for your continued understanding on this.

Oldham Athletic will give first priority to all supporters who had season tickets in the 2019/20 campaign during the switchover.
