Laurie Walker has rejoined the club on a seven-day emergency loan from MK Dons.
This is due to an injury to Danny Rogers that was sustained just before the fixture at the weekend.
Walker who will be in the squad for tonight's fixture against Bristol Rovers, finished the last campaign at Latics on an extended emergency loan making 13 appearances in total.
Most recently he appeared between the sticks for MK Dons in their opening day draw with Bolton after signing a new deal with his local club in the summer.
The experienced shot-stopper joined his parent club back in July 2019 and has helped to provide competition for the number one shirt at Stadium MK.
His long-awaited debut was in a 3-1 win over Keith Curle's Northampton Town at the time in the Papa John’s Trophy last season and was where the initial interest formed for the 31-year-old.
He will retain the #37 shirt number that he wore last season.
Welcome back, Laurie!
