Keillor-Dunn Up For Monthly Award

9 February 2021

Davis Keillor-Dunn has been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month award for January.

One of four nominees in the category, the midfielder has been chosen due to his eye-catching performances in front of goal.

Scoring three times in five league games, with the most recent effort being a memorable last minute winning strike against Salford. The other two came against Walsall and Newport, both confident and controlled finishes inside the area to secure more vital points.

On the nomination, the panel said; "A pet project of Oldham manager Harry Kewell, the winger has been converted into a central midfielder, using his touch and balance to influence games. Scored three technically perfect goals, including a stunning winner against Salford."

Whilst, Davis was delighted with the news; "It's nice to be nominated for an award like this, something I'm proud of as I've added more goals to my game recently.

"I just want to keep working hard for the team and see where it takes us. I'm in a good place, learning off someone like Harry Kewell has definitely helped and I'm enjoying my football."

'DKD' is joined on the shortlist by Jordan Bowery (Mansfield Town), Wes Hoolahan (Cambridge United) and Devante Rodney (Port Vale).

The judging panel for the Sky Bet Manager and Player of the Month awards comprises of Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.

The winner of the award will be announced on Friday by the EFL. Good luck, Davis!
