Keith Curle’s side will entertain Burnley FC in the last remaining pre-season fixture gap.
Taking place on Saturday 24 July (1pm KO), the Premier League opposition who under the stewardship of Sean Dyche have become an established top-flight side over the years, could see the return of James Tarkowski to where he began his professional footballing career.
Details on ticketing will be communicated nearer to the time once more information is known on whether restrictions by the Government are relaxed completely later this month.
The fixture becomes the high-profile game at Boundary Park for this pre-season schedule across July with a mixture of local non-league sides and higher league opposition.
