Oldham Athletic are now pleased to share important details for supporters regarding the upcoming two home friendlies against Burnley FC and Crewe Alexandra.
Ahead of welcoming supporters back to Boundary Park for the first time in nearly 17 months, the club can share the relevant access information for the pre-season friendly fixtures against Burnley FC (Saturday 24 July - 1pm KO) and Crewe Alexandra (Tuesday 27 July - 7pm KO).
COVID-19 Safety
For both games, the following COVID-19 operating measures are still in place to ensure supporters enjoy a safe experience, despite the complete relaxation of restrictions:
- Regular hand sanitisation stations will be situated throughout Boundary Park.
- A recommendation for all supporters to wear a face covering when in enclosed and indoor spaces, such as the toilets.
Oldham Athletic will not be enforcing a strict seating policy, but where possible fans should keep a reasonable distance apart from those supporters that they have not travelled to the game with.
Unfortunately, food and drink kiosks will not be open for both friendly fixtures, due to cleaning and refurbishment, but will return for the start of the league campaign on Saturday 7 August against Newport County.
As a result, supporters will be allowed to enter with pre-packed food and soft drinks in plastic containers. Please note, that anyone found attempting to enter the turnstiles with alcohol will not gain entry and anyone found consuming alcohol in view of the pitch will be ejected and face possible criminal prosecution.
Likewise, the Ticket Office will also be closed for both fixtures but will be back open for normal hours throughout the week and for the first Sky Bet League Two fixture of the new season.
Admission
For both games, entry is through cash at the turnstile only at the following prices:
- Adults - £10
- Under 18’s & Over 65s - £5
This decision has been taken as the club continues the process of transferring over to the new ticketing partner.
Where possible, please ensure you have the correct money to give the turnstile operator.
Car Parking
The Rochdale Road End car park, directly behind the Jimmy Frizzell Stand will be available for supporters to use. Disabled car parking spaces are also available in this area for home fans.
The NHS car park (located behind B&Q down Westhulme Avenue) will be in use as well. Whilst the Joe Royle Stand (North Stand) car park is for both sets of supporters to access, for both fixtures.
The following charges apply in all areas:
- Cars & Motorcycles - £5
- Minibuses - £10
- Coaches - £15 (North Stand Only)
All charges are payable on entry through the relevant stewards. Car parking permits are not allowed in the North Stand car park.
Please be aware of restrictions in the surrounding neighbourhood in front of properties which are clearly signposted as usual by Oldham Council.
There will be no live stream or matchday programme for either fixture.

A further notice to all supporters attending Boundary Park...
Please be respectful and patient with turnstile operators and stewards who are returning to work at the ground after a period of time away.
We expect supporters to be loud and get behind the team, in fact we encourage it, but we do not expect behaviour that compromises our reputation as a football club. Encroaching onto the playing surface is still against ground regulations and individuals caught doing so will be ejected and possibly face prosecution as well as a potential banning order.
Anyone found to be in possession of/using pyrotechnics will also be ejected and may face further prosecution as well as a banning order.
Oldham Athletic will not tolerate foul, racist, homophobic or abusive language and anyone found to be using such language will be ejected, facing prosecution and a banning order as clubs continue to take a zero tolerance approach to this type of discrimination.
As a club we can't wait to have supporters back inside the ground and look forward to the two fixtures where the players, management and staff will be able to interact with you again in-person.
