As preparations for the 2021/22 campaign continue, Keith Curle’s team will play six fixtures across July.
With the players reporting back for pre-season towards the end of the month, his side will face two local non-league teams from Tameside before entertaining League One sides in Wigan and Crewe, either side of a fixture to be announced soon against further higher league opposition as well as an additional game that has been organised to complete the schedule.

On the games planned, Head Coach Keith Curle said; "These have all been organised to make sure the squad are tested properly before the new season.
"We have a good balance of different teams and how they operate with their playing styles but are all of a very high quality which is what you need to learn from to make a positive start."
Details on ticketing and attendance at away fixtures will be announced in due course once more information is known on whether restrictions by the Government are relaxed completely later this month.
The Sky Bet League Two fixture list will be released on Thursday 24 June, with the season starting on Saturday 7 August alongside the Academy’s schedule in the EFL Youth Alliance.
In addition, the Youth Team have had two of their fixtures confirmed, with more to be organised in the coming weeks.
The U18s will travel to Huddersfield Town’s Canalside training ground on Saturday 17 July (10:30am) before a 'Select XI' play Avro at the Vestacare Stadium on Saturday 24 July (3pm).
