Oldham Athletic can confirm that Paul Hughes has been appointed to the Board of the Directors.
Representing the renamed Oldham Athletic Supporters Foundation, Paul is the Vice Chair and direct liaison with the club.
After the formalities were completed, Paul commented; "First of all, thank you to the OASF Board for having the confidence in me to fulfil this important role and their support going forward along with the supporters.
"I also look forward to taking on what is a privileged and challenging role but will give it my best shot."
A lifelong supporter since the 1960s, Paul spent most of his working life as a shareholder/director of PJH Group in Bolton. Now retired, he is hoping to use his business knowledge and love of Latics to help the football club going forward.
