Oldham Athletic can confirm that Vani Da Silva has joined FC United of Manchester on a short-term loan deal.
The lightning-fast attacker joins the Northern Premier League Premier Division side for their game today after showcasing glimpses of his potential throughout the campaign, so far, for Keith Curle's side.
Over the past two seasons, the versatile individual has illustrated his ability whilst featuring for Latics in Carabao Cup and Papa John's Trophy action as well as appearing in the league becoming another successful Youth Team graduate.
Da Silva has already experienced first team football in the local non-league scene, enjoying a productive loan spell with local outfit Curzon Ashton in the Vanarama National League in 2020.
He led the line for Latics in the second-half against Salford City in the Papa John’s Trophy and has also attracted interest in recent months promting the club to extend his contract.
Da Silva, a skillful winger by trade, will look to made an impact over the course of the next month as they sit 11th in their respective league.
Additionally, Witton Albion have secured the services of Will Sutton for an extra month with the central-defender continuing to make a good account of himself whilst on a loan.
