The Academy will travel to the capital in the next round of the FA Youth Cup to face higher-ranked category two side, Queens Park Rangers.
Taking place on Wednesday 8 December with a 7pm kick-off, they will face a QPR U18 side who enter the competition at this stage and play in the Professional Development League Two South.
The young Latics have already impressed in the previous two rounds overcoming both Carlisle and Bradford in dramatic fashion.

For the 2021-22 competition, players must have been born on or after 1 September 2003 and before 1 September 2006 to be eligible to feature in the FA Youth Cup.
