Oldham Athletic would like to place on record a big thank you to Michael Hall and his team at Independent Workwear Solutions on supplying the club with 23 brand new jackets for Car Park Attendants on matchdays.
The new jackets emblazon the new club crest, Independent Workwear Solutions and make Car Park Attendants easily visible for supporters wishing to park near Boundary Park.
On the partnership, Head of Commercial Steven Brown said; "It was a great gesture when I approached Independent Workwear Solutions to see if we could come to a deal on getting some much needed new coats for the attendants on the car parks.
"They insisted on providing the club their high-quality all-weather jackets free of charge as a goodwill sponsorship gesture, so I cannot thank them enough. The company is based very close to Boundary Park on Faulkenhurst Street, so I would highly recommend supporters to use their services if possible."
Mike Lane, Marketing Manager of Independent Workwear Solutions added; "When approached by Steven asking if we could help out with replacing the worn out hi-vis coats, we asked ourselves, could we sponsor the coats with our details displayed on the rear and both arms. The answer from a safety and advertising point of view was a resounding yes! We are now protecting the 23 car park attendants possibly for the next few seasons."
Whilst, Robin Highfield Matchday Operations Manager, commented; "The Car Park Attendants at the club are often the first point of contact for fans and people visiting the club. The coats they usec to wear were over six years old and fair to say a bit worse for wear.
"They are out there in all weather conditions making sure cars are directed and parked in the right zones. We are very grateful and appreciative to Mike and his team at Independent Workwear Solutions for their help in the supply of shiny new coats for them to wear."
