Oldham Athletic Community Trust are looking for grassroots clubs to attend the first home game of the season against Dorking on Saturday.
It promises to be a very special occasion at Boundary Park as the new era under the Rothwell family begins, linking the Oldham grassroots community to the club.
Grassroots clubs can claim complimentary tickets through OACT, generously gifted by the football club.
The ticket offer is limited, with a maximum order of 40 per team. Teams can request up to two complimentary tickets per player in the squad (which will include one adult and one child ticket), with teams asked to nominate one person to be in sole charge of the bookings on behalf of that club to prevent multiple requests.
OACT only have a limited number of tickets for the day and once the allocation has been sold unfortunately no more will be available.
Martin Vose, OACT Head of Community said: “I would like to thank the football club for supporting this initiative, without their involvement it wouldn’t be possible.
“The grassroots day is all about getting local teams to come down to Boundary Park and to celebrate how successful grassroots football is in Oldham.
“We would love to see hundreds of children at the fixture all in their team’s kit creating a fantastic atmosphere.”
The grassroots day is limited to those teams currently playing U16s football and below.
