Matchday Press Officer and Latics legend, Roy Butterworth, is releasing his second book, ‘A Journey Down Sheepfoot Lane.’
The new book follows on from the huge success of ‘A Fan On The Inside,’ which was published in 2019, raising thousands for local cancer charity, Maggie’s Oldham.
The book is packed full of great stories from Roy’s decades of following Latics across the country, tales with his great friend Gordon Lawton and the inside track of covering games from the Press Box.
It also includes a fascinating range of historic Latics content, some of which has never been seen before, charting the club’s journey from Pine Villa through to the recent takeover.
The book will be delivered next week and is available to pre-order for £10 from the game against Torquay with cash sales only.
Once again, all profits from the book will go to support the fantastic work of Maggie's Oldham.
