The club would like to sincerely thank Latics fans and members of the community for their generosity and support towards the recent Toy Appeal.
In total an estimated £5,000 worth of toys were collected before being donated to the Salvation Army, Oldham, who will work with over 300 families that will face a tough Christmas this year as the cost of living crisis worsens.
Martin Vose, from the Oldham Athletic Community Trust, commented: “When we first launched the toy appeal we were unsure of just how it would go, however we have been completely blown away by the support and the sheer number of toys that we were able to collect and then donate.
"I would like to include a special thank you to Sinco Creations, Holy Trinity Shaw, St Marys High Crompton & St James Thornham church, James & Sue Schofield and Matt & the team within the Oldham Athletic Club Shop for going above & beyond in their support of this initiative.
"With the Toy Appeal now complete our attention now moves to looking ahead, come January as a team we will be again working with key local partners to pledge as much support as possible to those in need within our communities”
The toy appeal formed part of a series of support launched by the club, with more information available here.
