Family Stand Activities For Carlisle United Fixture

3 March 2022

For Saturday, Oldham Athletic Community Trust (OACT) have provided an update for supporters and families attending the fixture.

Pre-Match Activities

This weekend the Junior Latics Lounge will be open for young supporters to visit, however, for this fixture there will be limited capacity due to a secondary activity being housed within the facility.

28012022 Where's Chaddy Matchday

28 January 2022

The Wild Roadshow will be providing a unique matchday experience, with junior supporters able to interact with animals such as snakes, lizards and tarantulas. This will take place within the Junior Latics Lounge (located inside the OACT Family Stand section - Jimmy Frizzell Stand/Rochdale Road End) from 2-4pm.

Please note that this activity will be subject to a time allocation during busy periods to ensure that as many people as possible can engage with the animals. We thank you for your co-operation in advance.

The interactive 'Wheres Chaddy' challenge will also return. Three Chaddy The Owl images will be hidden around the OACT Family Stand, when found each one can be returned to the tuck-shop in return for a prize. Please be careful when looking for Chaddy, if needed ask for help from a parent (just make sure they don't claim the prize!).

A number of matchday activity and sensory packs are also available, with further information available by clicking here: oldhamathletic.co.uk/OACT/matchday-activities/

Chaddy The Owl will also be around the ground to meet and greet supporters – feel free to ask him for a picture and tweet it to @OfficialOACT.

First Time Fans

If you are a first time visitor to Boundary Park let us know and we will get our matchday announcer to give you a special welcome over the PA system!

You can contact us by emailing enquiries@OACT.org.uk

If it is your first time visiting Boundary Park you can find plenty of helpful information within the first time guide, found here: oldhamathletic.co.uk/club/first-time-guide/

Tuck Shop

The tuck shop will be available between 2-4pm selling a range of sweet treats, with dairy-free, vegan and halal options available. In addition, fresh fruit will be available, please just ask the tuck shop team.

Half-Time

The popular 'Play On The Pitch' initiative returns on Saturday, as two OACT school partners visit Boundary Park.

At half-time pupils from Hey With Zion & St Pauls Primary School will take to the Boundary Park pitch, please give them a cheer as they entertain the crowd throughout the break.

For our last play on the pitch, we welcomed pupils from Canon Burrows Primary School, back in December.

Other Important Information:

  • The Sky Bet League Two fixture between Oldham Athletic and Carlisle United is the dedicated Level Playing Field 'Weeks of Action' of matchday.
  • Players from Oldham Athletic Girls & Women will be collecting outside Boundary Park, with all proceeds going back to the grassroots club.
